Terms of Service
Welcome to Artur Barros Educação. By enrolling in our courses, subscribing to our plans, or using our corporate website and student portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
1. Object and Services
Artur Barros Educação provides educational solutions aimed at teaching practical corporate and technical English for professionals. Access to study material, quizzes, and live weekly conversation classes is granted to active subscribers according to the rules of the contracted plan (Essential, Pro, or Masterclass).
2. Subscription and Payment Rules
- Subscriptions to our plans are processed on an automatic recurring monthly or annual basis, as selected at the time of purchase;
- Access to the student portal and associated contents is subject to successful payment clearance;
- Subscription cancellation can be requested at any time by the student, stopping future billing. Access will be maintained until the end of the paid period.
3. Intellectual Property
All educational material available on our platform, including texts, slide carousels, quizzes, lecture videos, phoneme audios, supporting PDFs, and interface designs, is the exclusive property of Artur Barros Educação or is used under license from third parties. It is strictly prohibited to:
- Copy, distribute, transmit, or broadcast educational content without the express written authorization of Prof. Artur de Barros;
- Share individual login credentials with third parties (access is strictly personal, monitored by IP address validation).
4. Student Code of Conduct
By participating in our community, discussion forums, or weekly live conversation sessions, students commit to maintaining a respectful and ethical conduct towards other students, teachers, and staff. Prejudiced language, moral harassment, or disrespect will result in immediate suspension from the platform without refund.
5. Warranty and Right of Regret
In accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, we guarantee a full refund of any subscription requested within 7 (seven) days from the date of the first payment confirmation, with no justification required.
6. Limitation of Liability
We provide a highly structured methodology ("Inglês Mirando o Alvo"), but learning speed, landing international job offers, and succeeding in recruitment processes depend entirely on the personal effort, frequency of practice, and consistent study of the student. We do not guarantee employment or specific financial outcomes.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service will be governed by the laws of Brazil, with the exclusive jurisdiction electing the Comarca of Artur Barros Educação's headquarters.
